It's been a little while, but Avenged Sevenfold are about to ramp up their activity. The band has scattered festival dates this summer, but they've just announced a full-scale 2013 European trek.

At this weekend's Rock on the Range festival, Device's David Draiman brought up a special guest to sing 'Close My Eyes Forever.' He was joined by Maria Brink of In This Moment to sing the duet from Device's self-titled debut album (watch video above).

2013 turned out to be a memorable year for the Carolina Rebellion festival, but not in the way organizers had hoped. Expanding to two full days at a new venue (Charlotte Motor Speedway) with a high profile lineup had anticipation and expectations at a high level. Unfortunately, Mother Nature did not cooperate.

Megadeth are bringing their 'Gigantour' festival trek back in 2013 and frontman Dave Mustaine confirmed that David Draiman's new band Device will be part of the run this year.

David Draiman has now taken the next step in establishing his new band, Device, as the group played their first-ever live performance Wednesday night in Mobile, Alabama.

As you should know by now, Device is the new project from Disturbed frontman David Draiman. The band's self-titled debut album won't be in stores until Tuesday, April 9th...but they were cool enough to share the whole damn thing with us, so we could share it with you.

One of the more intriguing tracks on Device's upcoming debut album is the cover of 'Close My Eyes Forever,' in which frontman David Draiman shares vocal duties with Halestorm singer Lzzy Hale. Now, the song has been unleashed for everyone to hear. Check it out below, as well as some insight Draiman gave Loudwire into recording the duet with Hale.

Device's debut album is becoming more and more of an "event" release, given all of the special guests on the record. That being said, David Draiman saved a pretty cool extra to make sure the deluxe edition of the album is intriguing as well.

Device are getting closer to the release of their self-titled debut, and to whet your appetite just a little bit more, the band has issued a new album trailer in support of the disc.
