It doesn’t appear as if Constantine will be returning to The CW just yet (though Matt Ryan has his own Justice League to attend to), so where best to get your fix of the chain-smoking demon-detective? NBC’s Constantine will officially hit Blu-ray in October, after time spent on CW Seed.

The third year of CW crossovers was already big enough between The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, before Supergirl unexpectedly flew into the fray. And while most details of the four-way teamup remain under wraps, producers suggest that Supergirl itself will play a limited role in the upcoming crossover.

San Diego Comic-Con always offers a wealth of announcements for upcoming Marvel and DC movies and television shows, and this year might be the biggest one yet. CBS’ Supergirl made clear from the start that it intended to tell Kara’s story - not her Super-cousin’s - though that didn’t stop the DC drama from awkwardly fumbling around his offscreen presence. Now, in addition to the big CW move, Supergirl will finally introduce a flesh-and-blood (or rather steel) Superman, casting for the iconic role now underway.

Apart from the initial trailer, Supergirl’s imminent Flash crossover let fly a few quick clips in a behind-the-scenes featurette, but the real deal has arrived, every bit as adorably as you dreamed. Wilson and newcomer Chris Haley dig into the details of Team Arrow cleaning up the filthy, crime-ridden streets of Star City. In this week’s episode, “Sins of the Father,” the League of Assassins finds itself embroiled in a civil war while Thea’s life hangs in the balance. Also, Felicity has coffee with her dad. Not that the series itself has lacked for red-hooded archers, Arrow fans are eagerly awaiting Colton Haynes’ return as Roy for this week’s “Unchained,” the character hopefully keeping out of that grave we’ve seen teased all season.
