Will characters from The Walking Dead Season 6 and prior appear in Season 7? You betcha! Will at least one of them die in the premiere? Probably! You might not know it from the first official round of Season 7 photos, however, which follow the trailer’s lead to reveal almost no one but Carol, Morgan and our new friend Ezekiel!

Heading into its seventh season, The Walking Dead is already at an age when most series would look to start wrapping things up, though its status as AMC’s flagship hit with miles of Robert Kirkman story ahead would make that unlikely. It’s a question sure to plague the AMC series more and more in the coming years, but according to Andrew Lincoln and Scott Gimple, one idea sees Robert Kirkman ending both his long-running comic and the TV Walking Dead simultaneously.

The Walking Dead fans are eagerly awaiting Season 7's full trailer, but lest we forget, the second half of Fear The Walking Dead Season 2 will arrive even earlier, on August 21. The companion series is starting too look a great deal like its companion, however, as Nick strikes out on his own, and the others take refuge in a spooky-looking hotel.

It’s still unclear how exactly The Walking Dead intends to keep Negan’s victim a secret through months of trailers and set photos into the October premiere, but even then, Season 7 may not deliver its key revelation right away. Executive producer Greg Nicotero teases a unique structure to the premiere, which itself will be smaller in scale than Season 6.

Whatever complaints we level at The Walking Dead, few could argue the artistry of the undead outshining movie zombies year after year. Season 6 served up some particularly gross walkers, from sewers to sandwiched in a quarry, so gird your stomachs for a look at the best from the Season 6 Blu-ray.

The Walking Dead has been through several iterations in its six seasons, each with their own adherence and deviations from the Robert Kirkman comics. One particularly abrupt change saw Laurie Holden’s Andrea exit The Walking Dead in Season 3, something Holden now claims was a last-minute decision that re-shaped the series.

Time will tell if Fear The Walking Dead can ever generate as much excitement as its parent series (at least not for upcoming premieres), but the AMC horror drama will at least bring some color to Comic-Con 2016. AMC companion series Fear The Walking Dead has struggled to turn the same heads as its mothership, even as Season 2 now unfurls with the same midseason cliffhanger that The Walking Dead has trafficked in for years. To wit, showrunner Dave Erickson acknowledges fan disappointment with the spinoff, as well where it stands with the main series’ significantly-advanced timeline.

This week’s Better Call Saul Season 2 finale seemed overwhelmingly to point toward the return of a Breaking Bad guy favorite, something creator Vince Gilligan acknowledged fans had deduced for themselves. That said, it seems another member of Walter White’s world nearly made the cut into Better Call Saul Season 2, until Gilligan decided it would pull focus.

Outrage over The Walking Dead Season 6 finale has barely cooled, but already AMC has in mind a delivery date for the whole Season 6 she-bang, including Negan’s F-bombs. The Walking Dead: The Complete Sixth Season will arrive on Blu-ray and DVD this August, while you can see the cover art right now.
