Festival season just got a great new addition, as a number of top rock bands will add San Antonio to their itinerary in late May. The inaugural Bud Light River City Rockfest will take place on the grounds of the AT&T Center in San Antonio on May 26th with Guns N' Roses and Alice in Chains serving as the day's headliners.
Alice in Chains are back at the top of the charts, but even they are surprised by the success that 'Hollow' has given them. Singer-guitarist Jerry Cantrell admits that the song isn't exactly they type of track that usually elicits such a reaction from radio and the fans.
Leading up to the second anniversary of late Alice in Chains bassist Mike Starr's death, friends and family in the Seattle area are banding together to stage a memorial show to celebrate his life and legacy.
Memphis has a great musical tradition and rock music will definitely be on display as part of the Beale Street Music Festival. Alice in Chains, the Black Keys and Smashing Pumpkins have been selected as the headliners for the three-day music weekend.
Rocklahoma -- the name says it all and this year the headliners definitely live up to the festival's moniker. Organizers for the festival have rounded up Guns N' Roses, Alice in Chains and Korn to headline the three-day music weekend May 24-26 at the "Catch the Fever" Festival Grounds in Pryor, Oklahoma.
Alice in Chains and some of their musical friends are big on the charitable spirit during the football season, launching their own fantasy football league with each team playing for a particular cause. But just because the Super Bowl is over doesn't mean the giving stops. For the fourth straight year, the league's members have united to present an eBay charity auction.
103GBF presents ALICE IN CHAINS in concert on Wednesday, May 22nd at the Aiken Theatre at the Centre. Tickets aren't on sale to the public yet, that doesn't happen until Friday at 10am...but YOU can buy tickets right now during our special internet pre-sale!
After spending a good portion of the year in the studio recording the upcoming Alice in Chains album, singer-guitarist Jerry Cantrell is in the mood to get out and play. Cantrell was a surprise guest of the Walking Papers during their performance at the Crocodile Café in Seattle Saturday night (Dec. 15).
There's just a few more days to wait until Alice in Chains issue their new single 'Hollow' in full, but for now, fans can get their first taste of the track by checking out a song snippet that's been posted on Amazon.
