Ever sine the ball was dropped with Thunder On The Ohio The Hadi Shrine has taken up the slack with Shrinersfest.  The last good Thunder On The Ohio to me was when we brought Black Stone Cherry to town.  It was huge fun, perhaps intensified because I was drinking back then. I remember we had a large bar setup in the rear hatch area of my boss at the time's Ford Explorer.  I think every pretty girl I saw that night got a free drink!

Well, I got sober and Thunder fizzled out, Shrinersfest came alive. The focus was less on what's in the water and what's more in the air and all the cool stuff along Riverside Drive. Starting Next Wednesday enjoy four days and five nights of air shows, nightly musical entertainment, carnival rides, food booths and everything a family festival should be!  The Ultimate Air Dogs are back again this year. Kids' rides are bigger and better. Great time to VisitEvansville!.
