Mel Books' movie Young Frankenstein is a classic. I mean, you can't mention a Mel Brooks movie and not instantly want to quote it.

Fronkenstein: It's pronounce "Fronkenstein"
Igor: Do you also say "Froaderick?".
Fronkenstein: No..."Frederick".
Igor: Well, why isn't it "Froaderick Fronkenstein"?
Fronkenstein: It isn't. It's "Frederick Fronkenstein"
Igor: I see.
Fronkenstein: You must be Igor.
Igor: It's pronounce "Eye-gor"
Fronkenstein: But they told me it was "Ee-gor"
Igor: Well, they were wrong then weren't they?

Inga: In unzer vords: his veins, his feet, his hands, his organs, vould all have to be of increased size.
Fronkenstein: Exactly.
Inga: He vould have an enormous scwanzstucker.
Fronkenstein: That goes without saying.
Inga: Woof!
Igor: He's going to be very popular.

Inga: Roll, roll, roll in ze hay...

Fronkenstein: Put...the candle...back!

Elizabeth: Oh, you men are all alike. Seven or eight quick ones and then you're out with the boys to boast and brag. YOU BETTER KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT. Oh... I think I love him.

Fronkenstein: What knockers!
Inga: Oh! Sank you, doctor!

And of course, the classic "Puttin' on the Ritz" scene.

All of which, are still in the musical. I mean, it was written by Mel Brooks too, so obviously, it's almost word-for-word just like the movie. Just with more singing.

Have you ever wanted to see Inga yodel suggestively? To see Elizabeth sing the word "tits" about 50 times? To see Frau Blucher *horse neighing* sing about how Victor VAS HER BOYFRIEND? To see the beginning of a beautiful friendship between "Froaderick" and "Eye-gor"? To see "Puttin' on the Ritz" performed live?

Singing, dancing, boobs jokes, and classic Mel Brooks humor is what awaits you at the Civic in Mel Brooks' "Young Frankenstein the Musical". So get your tickets now at evansvillecivictheatre.org! and Invite friends on Facebook!
