See Bobby’s Favorite Birthday Gifts This Year [Video]

I recently celebrated a birthday and, like most years, it was fairly uneventful. That's actually how I prefer it. I did, however, get a couple of really special, and unexpected gifts that totally made my day!

I really, honestly don't want/like/need a bunch of attention on my birthday. Flying under the radar is totally fine with me. I don't offer up birthday gift ideas and I don't expect to get any. I am incredibly blessed, and I already have everything in life that I need or want.

We recently invited some family over for a dual birthday celebration for me and my daughter (her birthday is a week before mine). In my opinion the day was all about her, and for the most part it was. Once she was done opening her gifts and cards, there were just a few things leftover for me.

I opened up a few great birthday cards...those always make me smile...and I noticed two small gift bags. I knew these gift bags contained items that were made by my two young nieces, Cali and Piper. I had no idea how incredibly awesome those gifts would be though. Check out the video below to see the gifts they made for me.

I've discovered that as I've gotten (a little bit) older, my priorities continue to change and I find myself getting emotional way too often. Male menopause? Who knows. My point is that expensive, fancy gifts are still great and very much appreciated...but I couldn't imagine a more perfect and touching gift than simple t-shirts, thoughtfully made just for me by my little nieces.
