Imagine you are in the school band and you are playing the Star Spangled Banner. You are going along just fine and suddenly, without warning your instrument falls apart at a pivotal moment in the song. That is exactly what happened to a kid playing the cymbals. The cymbal is a very important instrument for a band rendition of the National Anthem and provides almost all of the drama in the song.
