Sam’s Club Closes Multiple Stores Nationwide Without Notice

Will the tristate be effected?

Day's after announcing that they would increase their minimum wage to $11/hr and start giving out bonuses of up to $1,000, Sam's Club's across the nation have shut their doors. Some temporarily. Some for good.

And no one knows why.

Some stores have "CLOSED" signs that state that the store is closed for just today. Others have a "CLOSED" sign that states that the store will not be re-opening, or it announces it's closing date.

Many Sam's Clubs in Indianapolis have been effected by this and 419 employees in Indiana are at risk of losing their jobs.

Luckily, it doesn't look like any Wal*Mart or Sam's Club's in the tri-state area are effected. (Yet.)
