On Saturday, October 5th, Jamie Wesner and her family are hosting an event to raise money for research for epilepsy in hope of finding a cure. They have lost two family members to this brutal disease including Jamie's mother, Diane Lynn Wesner and cousin, Kristy Leigh Music.

The event is called ROCK the CURE for EPILEPSY in participation with CURE (Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy) and is being held at O'Brian's Bar & Grill located at 1801 N. Green River Rd., at 7:00pm. Three local bands, including Sideshow Romance, JEB, and Atrifas that are graciously donating their time and talents for this event. Door prizes will be given away throughout the evening as well. Just to name a few; a free hotel stay for two at French Lick Spring Resort & Casino, basketball tickets from both U of E and ISU, dinner for two at Logan's, gift certificates for oil changes, pizza's, and coupons for a piece of pie from O'Charley's.

The goal is to raise $5,000. by December 20, which would have been Diane Wesner's 40th birthday. All proceeds from the event will be donated to CURE.
