Rob Zombie has announced via an Instagram post that he has cast Torsten Voges as the Death-Head in his upcoming horror film 31. The actor is best known as the nihilist Franz from The Big Lebowski and his role as Count Gorgann in Zombie’s last film The Lords of Salem.

The writer and director posted the photo (below) on Instagram with the caption: “Torsten Voges has signed on the play Death-Head in my new film 31. Go to www.Rz-31.com for more info! #robzombie #rz31”

As Death-Head, Voges is sure to inflict a lot of pain and suffering in the film, which tells the story of the five people kidnapped and held hostage in the days leading up to Halloween. They are taken to a secluded location and forced to fight for their lives through the night of Halloween and whoever survives by Nov. 1 is let free.

31 is currently in pre-production. For more info and a sneak peek, click here.

Meanwhile, Zombie just released his new Spookshow International Live album. Fans can purchase the effort at this location.

Rob Zombie will kick off his summer tour in New Orleans on June 2. The rocker will be one of the headliners at the inaugural Loudwire Music Festival, taking place June 24-26 in Grand Junction, Colo. See all his tour dates here.
