If you don't recognize the name "June Foray" you might recognize her for some of the hundreds of voices she's given to your childhood over the past 70 years.

June Foray passed away yesterday at the age of 99. She had an amazing life and an equally as amazing career. She was a voice actress of many talents and paved the way for future voice actresses today like Tara Strong, Nancy Cartwright, Grey DeLisle, Cree Summer, and so many others.

June Foray was an inspiration to a lot of people, especially me. I got into radio because I was interested in voice acting. And with influences like June Foray getting me through my childhood, it's no wonder. I mean, she spent her whole life doing voices for Warner Bros, Disney, and Saturday morning cartoons. What kid WOULDN'T think that's a dream job??

So, here's to you, June! You'll be missed, but with your voice acting resume, you will never ever be forgotten.
