Phone Topic Tuesday: “What Movie Do You Despise, But You Seem To Be The Only Person Alive That Thinks That?”
"Phone Topic Tuesday" gives you the chance to call me up and weigh in on a particular subject of my choosing. So this afternoon, I ask an important (Not really!) and perhaps tough to answer question "What movie do you despise, but you seem to be the only person alive that thinks that?"
That's a hard question to answer, I know. For me, it's "Matrix Reloaded" and I would all in all probably say the same about the Matrix series. I know there are some truly ground breaking special effects, but the plotlines are difficult to follow unless you're paying super close attention, and to me most science fiction movies in general are full of technical drivel. Mix in a bit of horror with the sci-fi and I likely. "Alien" and "Aliens" were good examples as were the first two terminator movies.
Getting back to "Matrix Reloaded", I guess one thing in particular I didn't like is Keanu Reeves. He simply can't act. I do like a few movies he's in, but the Matrix films are not part of that collection.
Lana Wachowski and Andrew Paul "Andy" Wachowski are the pair who directed all the Matrix films and they also made "V For Vendetta: which I hated too. Maybe It's the moviemakers I don't like as much as their movies.
