Peru Goalie Makes Incredible Double-Save
Uruguay’s Gonzalo Bueno should have scored a clinching goal against Peru last week in a game between the nations’ Under-20 teams. Bueno DIDN’T score, because Peruvian goalkeeper Angelo Campos may be the fastest man in South America. Watch:
With Peru trailing 3-2, Campos charged out to corral the ball. When he missed, Bueno had an empty net and tapped the ball homeâ¦until Campos closed ground, batting the ball back at the goal line. Bueno had a second attempt, but Campos brushed that shot away as well.
Peru later rallied to tie the match, 3-3, but all most fans will remember is the miracle double-save by Campos.
