Earlier I posted a video of some random Chilean dude who can sing just like Eddie Vedder. Well now I'd like to spend a little bit of time talking about Pearl Jam. They've got a new movie out ya' know...it's called "Twenty".

This documentary comes from famed film director (and huge music buff)  Cameron Crowe. Check out the "Twenty" trailer at the bottom of the page. Right now it is in very limited release. Odds are we won't get it on a screen in our town. Guess we'll have to wait for the DVD to come out on October 25th. Here's more about the movie according to the PJ20 official site...

"Pearl Jam Twenty chronicles the years leading up to the band’s formation, the chaos that ensued soon-after their rise to megastardom, their step back from center stage, and the creation of a trusted circle that would surround them—giving way to a work culture that would sustain them. Told in big themes and bold colors with blistering sound, the film is carved from over 1,200 hours of rarely-seen and never-before seen footage spanning the band’s career. Pearl Jam Twenty is the definitive portrait of Pearl Jam: part concert film, part intimate insider-hang, part testimonial to the power of music and uncompromising artists"

Along with the film comes a soundtrack, which features a number of live performances from the band's 20 year career. I'd like to share one of those songs/videos with you now. It's a performance of 'Better Man' (my favorite PJ song) from a May 2010 concert at Madison Square Garden. How cool would it have been to be there for this show.

And now the trailer...
