Paige Parker Blows Royals Away with Pitching Skills (video)

Missouri native Paige Parker got the opportunity last week to throw the opening pitch for the KC Royals v. Red Sox game. The only difference between Paige and any other "opening pitcher" is that Paige is the pitcher for the National Softball Champion Oklahoma Sooners team. And her pitches kick ass.

Before the game the Royals gave her some space to do some practice pitches with the Royals catcher Drew Butera, who went to catch these balls with no mask and no protection on. Mistake #1, Butera. NEVER underestimate the power of a woman. Especially a woman who just won a National Championship.

These pitches were so hard they literally knocked Butera on his ass.
