Owensboro Air Show Is This Saturday and Sunday

Owensboro has a big weekend in store with their big Air Show

Doors open at 11:00am and seating is available on a first-come first-serve basis with plenty of seats for all ticket holders. A variety of food and drinks will be available for purchase. Tickets are limited, don’t miss your chance to reserve your space today for one of the best locations downtown to watch the show.   For the first time ever, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds team is coming to Owensboro. This incredible Canadian icon will bring their 9-ship demonstration squadron to the Owensboro Air Show to showcase the skill, professionalism and teamwork inherent in the women and men of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) and the Canadian Armed Forces. We have been fortunate to have the CF-18 demonstration in recent years and are thrilled to have the jet demonstration team in 2016. You don’t want to miss the incredible sight of this amazing jet team over the skies of downtown Owensboro

Prior to the Air Show The bridge downtown will be closed on Saturday, October 1 from 7:00am – 1:00pm for the annual Bridge Run and Bridge Day event. This is your opportunity once a year to walk, bike, or stroll across the "Blue Bridge" and get great views of Owensboro’s amazing riverfront prior to the start of the air show at 1:00pm. The morning will kick-off with the annual Bridge Run at 7:00am and the bridge will open to the general public for Bridge Day at approx. 9:00am
