The storm last night has caused extensive damage in the Oakland City area. At this time, police are limiting traffic into the town.

The Red Cross has set up their Emergency Recovery Services headquarters at the new Community Center located on Worth Rd.

Those in need of finding an air conditioned place to cool off can go to the library in Oakland City. The library is also providing internet access and a place to watch television.

It may take as long as three days before power is restored to everyone.
