A new Nirvana tribute album has just been made public for streaming in full! To pay respects to Nirvana and the group's final album, 'In Utero,' bands such as Thursday, Circa Survive, Daughters and more have come together for 'In Utero: In Tribute.'

One interesting quality of 'In Utero: In Tribute,' released by Robotic Empire, is that the album mirrors the classic Nirvana record song-by-song. Instead of a random compilation with the biggest band securing the top spots in the album's track listing, all 12 tracks from 'In Utero' are sequenced just like the original release.

Along with contributions from Thursday, Circa Survive and Daughters, bands such as These Arms are Snakes, Thou and Whirr provide strong points with their versions of Nirvana classics.

“It has been a privilege to introduce so many unique bands to likeminded freaks over the past 15 years," says Robotic Empire head Andy Low. "Looking back at what’s transpired almost seems unreal, and even with a shameful carbon footprint of many thousand plastic circles – I can safely say that it has been an honor to work with the artists we have, and a hearty thank you is due to all who’ve listened thus far. I genuinely hope you’ll enjoy this tribute to one of the bands who first showed me the strange side of music. Nirvana was truly one of the greats, and we’ve done our best to craft an appropriate homage to so many people’s all-time favorite band.”
