The legendary 2013 Reading and Leeds festivals have just announced their headlining acts. Being held simultaneously from August 23-25, bands confirmed for the fests include Nine Inch Nails, Green Day, System of a Down, Deftones and more.

The Reading Festival goes back all the way to 1976, where amongst headlining acts Gong, Rory Gallagher and Mallard, a little band called AC/DC were sprinkled in with the rest of the acts. Since then, the Reading Festival, along with the Leeds Festival, have become legendary destinations for music lovers worldwide.

Along with Nine Inch Nails, Green Day, System of a Down and Deftones, celebrated acts Bring Me the Horizon, Biffy Clyro, New Found Glory, Fall Out Boy, Brand New and even Eminem are slated to perform on the main stages of both festival lineups in 2013. Acts such as Phoenix and City & Colour are confirmed for the NME/Radio 1 stage, while a ton of acts are still to be named for the total of nine separate stages.
