What is it about Nine Inch Nails and super catchy pop stars? If there was any doubt of how infectious Nine Inch Nails music can be, just erase it right now as a Trent Reznor classic is used for yet another pop-infused mashup.

This time, a producer going under the name of YITT is responsible for pairing up "Head Like a Hole" with Carly Rae Jepsen's current bubblegum pop hit "I Really Like You" and it works incredibly well. For the most part, Jepsen's track provides the instrumental base with the pop star and her backing singers almost serving as backup vocalists on the mashup, while Reznor's angst-ridden vocals provide a majority of the lyrical content. And the visual cutting between performances works as well.

According to YITT's Vimeo profile, he's an amateur drummer, musician, photographer and producer and this mashup is just one of the examples of his talent shared online. Click here to check out more of his work. If you'd like to download the mashup, click here.

And for those of you with the nagging feeling that this is somewhat familiar, you may remember a 2013 mashup from Pom Deter that paired Nine Inch Nails' "Head Like a Hole" with Jepsen's breakout single "Call Me Maybe." Reznor also found his NIN track "The Perfect Drug" used in a mashup with Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" earlier this year.
