Netflix Finally Announces Sense8 Series Finale Date

I'm sad to see this show go. But I'm also glad we're getting some closure.

Sense8 is a Netflix show that has slowly gained a cult following through the years. Unfortunately, this following wasn't enough for it to get a 3rd season.

But he thing about this fan base though, is that we're persistent. Sense8 fans bugged the crap out of Netflix for closure. Because season 2 ended on a huge cliff hanger that promised us a big climax in season 3. Essentially, everything the show had been building up for 2 seasons was finally going to come to a head.

And Netflix cancelled it.

So we wrote letters, sent e-mails, fan mail, phone calls, to anyone who would listen and Netflix caved and said "FINE! We'll do a big special to wrap up everything."

And then we didn't hear anything about it for a while. I remembering hearing that they were filming in the spring or summer of last year and that we were going to get it as a 'holiday special'. But then Christmas came and went, so that didn't happen.

And I started to lose hope.

But now, in April of 2018, they've FINALLY ANNOUNCED when the series finale will air.

JUNE 8th, 2018.
