After the sad news this past weekend that Bill Paxton died after complications from a heart surgery, I immediately went back and watched some of my favorite Bill Paxton movies yesterday. (It's how I cope.)

These are some of my favorite Bill Paxton performances.

5. Titanic - Brock Lovett

Say what you will about Titanic, but it holds a special place in my heart: It was the first Bill Paxton movie I ever remember seeing. It introduced me to him. Therefore, it has a place on this list.

4. Twister - Bill Harding

Remember when Twister was practically the only movie TNT would show in the late 90s/early 2000s? Well, thanks to that I will never forget this moment that never fails to make me laugh, even though it's not supposed to...SHE'S GOTTA SAVE HER BALLS.

3. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - John Garrett

We all know from his roles in the 80s and 90s that Bill Paxton could play a likeable douchbag...But a likeable villain? You bet your ass. I don't think the writters intended for him to be likeable, because his character WAS pretty evil...but it's Bill Paxton. No matter how hard he acts, you can't hide that charm.

Also, he had the coolest ending...

2. Weird Science - Chet Donnelly

Tell me you've never done the "Chet Donnelly door kick" before. I dare you. It's impossible, you can't. We've all done it.

Thanks to John Hughes, I will never forget Chet Donnelly's stupid haircut, annoying laugh, or iconic one-liners.

1. Aliens - Private Hudson

Speaking of one-liners, I think the most memorable Paxton line of all came from Aliens.

Say it with me...."GAME OVER, MAN. GAME OVER!"

What's your favorite Bill Paxton role or one-liner?
