Just when I thought I couldn't love Metallica anymore, they go and do something this awesome!

On Friday Metallica played a show in Utah, but before their show they showed up to the Utah Food Bank to make a very generous donation. $10,000 to be exact! According to the Utah Food Bank, that $10,000 will provide about 30,000 meals.  On Utah Food Bank's Instagram they said that, Metallica is doing this on every stop on their tour! Which is crazy awesome!

This is all as a part of their All Within My Hands Foundation which is a foundation Metallica created in 2017, to help the communities who have supported them all these years.

In February of 2017, we announced the formation of All Within My Hands. The Foundation aims to assist and enrich the lives of members of the communities who have supported the band for years, as well as encourage participation from fans and friends. All funds raised will be donated to a cross-section of national and local charities... every penny from your donations will go directly to our charity partners.

From their All Within My Hands Foundation Twitter, Metallica said that at their recent show in Spokane, a portion of every ticket sold would go to 2nd Harvest, which is the local food bank in Spokane.  They held true to their end of the bargain by showing up after their Sunday night show with a $10,000 check for 2nd Harvest!

Keep up with all the good Metallica is doing by following their All Within My Hands Foundation on Twitter @AWMHFoundation and if you want to donate to help Metallica make an impact in every community they stop in you can donate here.  They also have some really cool All Within My Hands Merch, that would be a great way to show support while helping them raise money too!
