A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane along short sections of the Audubon Parkway and on overpasses that cross the Audubon in HENDERSON & DAVIESS Counties starting Tuesday, June 7, 2016.

The contractor will be cleaning, repairing, and painting bridges along the Audubon Parkway, as well as overpasses that carry other highways across the Audubon.  This bridge and overpass mainteance work will require traffic on the main line of the Audubon Parkway to be restricted to one lane in short sections.  To facilitate work on overpasses that carry 2-lane highways across the parkway, one lane traffic may be required on 2-lane highways and some traffic restrictions may be required on ramps at the parkway interchanges.

There are 16 bridges and overpasses included in this bridge/overpass cleaning and mainteance project along the length of Audubon Parkway in Henderson County and Daviess County.

DeAngelo Brothers, Inc, is the prime contractor in this brdge mainteance project.  The work is expected to take about a month to complete, weather permitting.

Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
