The weather is starting to turn, and we may have finally said goodbye to Old Man Winter this year. Warmer weather has us all in search of something to do to get out of the house since the snow and ice this season has left a bad case of “Cabin Fever” in the tristate. We’re in luck - There’s something for everyone.

NCAA Tournament
It’s March Madness! Anything can happen!

The NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Elite 8 is back in Evansville where it all started. Eight regional champions will converge on Evansville where a national champion will be crowned on national television. The Division II Elite 8 spent its first 20 years in Evansville, IN from 1957 – 1976. The Championship returned in 2002 for the 25th anniversary of its departure and is back again (for two straight years).
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:
- Monday, March 24 – Opening Ceremony
- Wednesday, March 26 – Quarterfinal games (12pm, 2:30pm, 6pm & 8:30pm)
- Thursday, March 27 – Semifinal games (6pm & 8:30pm televised on CBS Sports Network)
- Friday, March 28 – National Basketball Coaches Association Reece’s All Star Game (6pm)
- Saturday, March 29 – NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball National Championship game (2pm televised on CBS)

For the Kids
We didn’t forget about the kids! We even thought of things for families to do together as the spring season unfolds. Evansville and Owensboro have plays tailored to children. The children’s museum is always fun as well.
