The Wabash County Sheriff's Office responded to the Lancaster Stockyard after they had reported 34 cows missing on September 4th.

According to 14 News, 26-year-old Mason G. Ray was "identified as the suspect and a warrant on a burglary charge was issued for his arrest."

Ray later turned himself in and was arrested following the Sheriff's investigation. Now he faces charges of receiving stolen property in excess of $10,000 and later posted a $20,000 cash bond related to the incident in Wabash County.

The sheriff's office says the value of the cattle is $33,000. This sounds like a large undertaking. There are no reports yet on how Ray was able to transport 34 heads of cattle without anyone noticing...but the real question here is what in the world was he planning on doing with 34 cows?!
