Is Rob Zombie's "Dead City Radio and the New Gods of Supertown" some kind of homage to The Doors or did Zombie rip off Jim Morrison? Take a listen!

First, let me start by saying that I have been a Rob Zombie fan forever, but I have been a Jim Morrison fan for much longer. The first time that I heard the new Rob Zombie track, "Dead City Radio and the New Gods of Supertown," I was of course, immediately excited. I mean, hey! It's new Rob Zombie! Right? The longer I listened to the track the more I started feeling as though I had heard parts of the song somewhere before. Then it hit me! "The Wasp (Texas Radio and the Big Beat)" from The Doors!

I immediately took to YouTube to give "The Wasp" a listen because it had been awhile since I had heard it all the way through, and I'll be damned if what I was hearing in the new Rob Zombie track really does sound like parts of my "old friend" from The Doors. Hell, even the names of the songs have a similar sounding flow to them!

I don't know if it's intentional or not, but I hear the similarities. Give the two tracks a listen and then take vote. Let me know what you think!!
