2014 has been a great year for Judas Priest as the metal vets have been rejuvenated by the release of their 'Redeemer of Souls' album. Frontman Rob Halford recently spoke with 'Loudwire Nights' host Full Metal Jackie about the band's return and he went in depth about exactly how much the fan support means to him.

"Being with the fans, that for me personally is like the ultimate metal communion. When you're in each other's company, you just validate everything about being in a band and the association of the people who support you," says Halford. "I couldn't imagine living without this, it means so much to me personally. It's part of what makes me live."

In the video above, which was filmed at the Louder Than Life festival this fall, Halford also speaks about the reaction to the band's 'Redeemer of Souls' album, shares what keeps the group vibrant after all these years and tackles that Gene Simmons statement about rock being dead.
