Chester Bennington, lead singer of Linkin Park, has been doing a lot of interviews this month, and in them he has been none too kind to his old fans...

It's one ting to respond to fan-hate by defending your new music. It's another to respond to fan-hate like you're an angry 12 year-old youtube commenter...

These are ACTUAL QUOTES from Chester Bennington this past month in regards to fans calling him a "sell out" and wanting more music like Hybrid Theory:

I’m like, 'Why are we still talking about Hybrid Theory?' It's fucking years ago. It’s a great record, we love it. Like, move the fuck on."

-Chester Bennington, AP, May 9th, 2017

If you’re saying we’re doing what we’re doing for a commercial or monetary reason, trying to make success out of some formula… then stab yourself in the face!"

-Chester Bennington, AP, May 9th, 2017

If you’re gonna be the person who says like ‘they made a marketing decision to make this kind of record to make money’ you can f---ing meet me outside and I will punch you in your f---ing mouth because that is the wrong f---king answer.

Because guess what, calling us a sell out for that purpose is… selling out on your f---king excuse as to why you don’t like it. You’re a f---king pussy."

-Chester Bennington, Kerrang!, May 19th, 2017

When you make it personal, like a personal attack against who we are as people, like dude shut up. That means that I can actually have feelings about it and most of the time my feelings are I want to kill you.”

-Chester Bennington, Kerrang!, May 19th, 2017

In response to Chester's many interview outbursts, Corey Taylor responded by saying

I understand where he’s at. God, I would’ve never say it the way he did, but you get frustrated and you want people to embrace the evolution. At the same time, you should probably be very, very fortunate that people this far along the line still love that music you made.”
