Is this frowned upon, or okay?

Say you went to the Seether concert wearing a Guns N Roses shirt. That's okay right? I think it is. Mainly because I don't own a Seether shirt (yet) and I still want to show my support for rock. Therefore: GNR.

Well, KISS thinks this is a no-no, because a video recently surfaced of a 2012 interview they did where they made the interviewer remove his Iron Maiden shirt before he interviewed them because it was "disrespectful".

Personally, I think making someone strip to do an interview with you is disrespectful. Yeah, he was wearing an Iron Maiden shirt, but it could have been worse. It could have been a Taylor Swift shirt. In which case a striping would have been appropriate. Hopefully followed by a burning of said shirt.

Any-who, the question still remains: Is it acceptable to go to a concert and wear a t-shirt that isn't of the band you are going to see?

I'm a little on the fence. Because Guns N Roses, AC/DC, Led Zepplin, Metallica, Iron Maiden, KISS, Rush...If you wear any of those shirts to any rock concert or festival, I think it's cool. Those are rock legends that no one should get mad at you for wearing and supporting at any event.

But what about a Seether, Theory of a Deadman, Korn, or Shinedown shirt to an Avenged Sevenfold concert? Is that still okay?

What are your thoughts?
