Is ‘Bathroom Talking’ Off Limits? [Bobby’s Poll]

Ha...I said poll! Let me explain what I mean by "bathroom talking." I am specifically referring to someone trying to chat you up while there is a number 2 in progress...either by you or by the chatter. I wanna know how you feel about that kind of thing?

Before you answer, here are my thoughts. I am pretty much forced, on a daily (or even twice daily) basis, to do my sit-down business here at work...and I'm OK with that. But I do prefer to do my business in silence. If someone comes in the bathroom, I expect them to do their business and leave. There is no need to start up a conversation with me. In fact, I try to be as quiet and inconspicuous as possible when someone else is in there with me. I'll put everything on hold, even if it causes discomfort for me. Once they leave, the dumping can resume. And I extend the same courtesy to any fellow co-worker who is on the throne when I come in the bathroom.

I know for a fact that I have friends that fall on both sides of the issue. I have spoken with friends who totally agree with me...and I have learned, from personal experience, that other friends have no problem shooting the shit (pardon the pun) with someone taking a dook.
