Bikers, rednecks and leather enthusiasts are currently flocking to Brown County to help unleash the inaugural Indiana Bike Week happening at Bill Monroe Music Park.

And although the thought of a bunch of tough bikers blasting full throttle through a campsite with ZZ Top playing at top volume may not seem like the most ideal place for children, Director of Marketing Jeff Crotty says that this event is family friendly.

“And we want to expose children and families to the wonderful world of motorcycling. I think there’s a misconception a lot about motorcycling in the general public, we want to make sure that we are educating our kids properly,” he said.

In addition to a number of food and retail vendors, Indiana Bike Week offer patrons beer gardens, live music, stunt shows and racing. The festivities are going on now through Sunday.
