Whether you call it "tidying up," "purging," or "spring cleaning," you may be wondering what to do with all of the things you no longer want hanging around your home. The Evansville Rescue Mission would like you to donate it to the ERM Thrift Stores. There's been a big surge in purging items from your home that no longer "bring you joy" and if those items are gently used and still in good condition, you can make a donation to the ERM. There are actually a few different places that you can donate:

  • Donation Center at 709 East Sycamore Street
  • Donation Truck at Living Word Christian Church in Newburgh, 3888 State Route 261, Newburgh, IN 47630
  • Donation Bins at all 3 ERM Thrift Store Locations - Washington Avenue, Sycamore Street or Oak Hill Road

If you're wondering what types of items to drop off with the Evansville Rescue Mission - they will gladly accept:

  • New or gently-used clothing in sizes infant through Adult
  • New or gently-used furniture (excluding used mattresses & box springs)
  • New or in good, working condition appliances and electronics
  • New or gently-used household items like sheets, towels, home decor

Your donation is tax deductible as well.
