Icemen Host Shelby Hiser Benefit Night

On December 21st, 2011 16 year old Shelby Hiser was in a car accident, He broke his C-4 vertebrae and is currently a quadraplegic, which means he cant move anything from the neck down.

On New Year's Eve he was blessed with the feeling to come back all over his body, just a week and a half after the accident!!

He is making strides everyday to get better and his faith is growing in everyone around him.

The family is asking for help to add an addition onto the house to accomodate him and the medical equipment that will come home with him.

He has a great big heart and loves to help anyone and everyone he can so please help out, every little bit helps. He is currently at Kosair's Hospital in Louisville, Ky. Coming up Friday Feb 24th, The Evansville Icemen are host a benfit night for Shelby. If you buy tickets in advance from Maddie Hansel in the Evansville Icement Office, $2 of that ticket go to the Shelby Hiser Fund.
