How Quickly Baby Talk Can Go Wrong [Video]
September 7, 2012 2:55 PM Here’s my official stance on the subject…I got no problem with people calling their significant other “baby” or “honey” or things like that. But for some reason, I don’t live hearing people called “babe”. I guess one little “y” makes a big difference for me. I don’t consider those things to be “baby” talk though. For me, baby talk is when you start talking to another grown-up as if they were a baby…not a young child…but a baby. That is not cool.
The folks at Funny or Die give us this video that demonstrates how quickly some simple baby talk can lead you to a dark and uncomfortable place. I’ll admit, I didn’t expect the video to go the way it did…and for that I say kudos to them.
