The Man of Steel has always been my favorite super hero, and I think, for the most part, he is America's favorite too. Other heroes may be darker or edgier, more clever or witty - but there is just something about the man in blue and red that rises above them all.

Just think about it - what little boy hasn't imagined being Superman? I vividly remember rocking my Superman Underoos, tucking a towel in my shirt and pretending I could fly...and that was just last week. Regardless of how you may feel about 'ol Kal-El, if you're a fan of comics and super heroes in general, I think you'll get a kick out of this video.

Zack Snyder, who directed the most recent Superman movie Man of Steel, along with other from Warner Bros. Animation put together this short animated homage to Superman.  It's pretty amazing how they can bring his first comic book appearance to life, cover most of the major events in his life (and death), and pay tribute to the men who have portrayed him (well, most of the men) all within two minutes.
