Halestorm Playing Jay-Z? Yep, Check Out Their Version of ‘Empire State of Mind’ [Video]

I think I've made it very well known by now that Lizzy Hale can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned. I have dug and continue to dig everything that she and Halestorm have done...so I was curiously excited to find a video of them covering Jay-Z's song "Empire State of Mind."

This song (and video) were recorded during Halestorm's time in "The Live Room" at  Sear Sound Studios in New York, NY. They did this back in October, you may recall my previous post with featured a few other videos from this session. For whatever reason, this video was just now released...and I am grateful.

Well of course Lizzy and the boys kill it.  She's got pipes for days and makes every song she's on unique to her sound. But again, let me reiterate that I am just the slightest bit biased.
