You don't need patience anymore, as the first Guns N' Roses show welcoming back Slash and Duff McKagan into the band's lineup will take place in Los Angeles this evening (April 1). It has now been confirmed that the group will warm-up for their spring dates by playing the famous Troubadour in West Hollywood where they first rose to fame in the mid-to-later '80s.

The official announcement came at 10AM PT this morning, with fans already lining up for tickets at a pop-up store in the old Tower Records (current Gibson Brands store) lot on the Sunset Strip. The on-sale begins at 12N PT. Even cooler, the band has gone with retro pricing for this special show with tickets going for $10 per person. In addition, those in line will be able to check out the Gibson Brands store which has been transformed into a complete GN'R interactive experience complete with a memorabilia exhibit curated by Blaine Halvorson, designer of MadeWorn. The exhibit opens at 12pm and will include historic items such as members’ classic attire, original artwork, personal awards and more. Additionally, GNR exclusive merchandiser, Bravado will be onsite with a pop up shop featuring exclusive merchandise to celebrate the April 1 Troubadour appearance.

The rumors of a Guns N' Roses Hollywood show began a few weeks back when it was revealed that drummer Steven Adler had canceled his scheduled April 1 show at the Whisky. The venue teased that a special announcement was coming with the hashtag #GunsNRoses tacked onto the post about Adler's cancellation.

Now we know that for the select few Los Angeles denizens who caught the announcement when it was made or heard about the show ahead of time and scurried down to the venue to queue up for tickets, they'll be witnessing history in the making this evening (April 1).

For those unable to make tonight's show, the band will be playing Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena and Mexico City's Foro Sol later this month, as well as headlining shows at Coachella. In addition, the group recently announced the cities for an extended summer tour, though dates and venues have yet to be revealed.
