God of War: Ascension Purchases at Best Buy Hammer Down the Bonuses

If you haven't pre-ordered God of War: Ascension, then either you really don't care about securing one of the most anticipated games of the year, or you've been holding out for amazing bonuses. If it's the latter, then we've got good news for you.

According to a post on the PlayStation Blog, if you get the game at Best Buy, you'll receive an exclusive Mjolnir Multiplayer Weapon downloadable content pack.

This promotional weapon is inspired by an upcoming show on History, called Vikings, which features the story of Ragnar Lothbrok. This viking is said to be a direct descendant of Odin, the Norse god who rules over all of Asgard. And in keeping with the viking theme, the weapon is inspired by Mjolnir, otherwise known as Thor's hammer. The show itself will  premiere on March 3rd, 2013 at 10 PM EST.

All you have to do to get this DLC is snag the game at Best Buy and punch in the promo code on the included voucher. This code will also get you the Mythological Heroes Multiplayer Pack, giving you access to four armor sets for Achilles, Perseus, Orion, and Odysseus.
