I really hate giving out my secret workout spots, but I feel too many people drive past it every day and ignore it. Of course, I'm talking about the nationally recognized, Pigeon Creek Greenway.

This 10-mile bike/recreation path currently runs from the North-End of Hidelbach Ave to Sunrise Park in downtown Evansville. Plans eventually call for circling the city with the Greenway path.

Although I prefer to fix my own bike at home, the Greenway has three repair stations installed and ready for you to use. Worried that there isn't going to be enough sunlight? The recently installed solar lights will help with that.

If you don't plan to ride a bike, but want to walk or run, that's okay. Just be mindful of bikes coming through the area. If you're wanting to keep track of your workouts (or you like a humble brag to you Facebook friends) check out MapMyRide or MapMyRun. Paid versions are available, but the free versions do the job just as well.

So as the weather gets warmer, get out and explore the area you've only seen from your car. Check out the Pigeon Creek Bike Trail right here in Evansville.
