How the hell did Friday the 13th get such a bad rap?  Well, it started long before Jason Vorhees started killing people with any available object from a plastic spork to a javelin!

The actual origin of the Friday the 13th legend is drawn from Norse mythology.. Friday was named for Frigga, the Norse goddess of love and fertility. When Norse and Germanic tribes converted to Christianity, Frigga was banished and labeled a witch. It then was believed that every Friday, Frigga held a meeting with eleven other witches, plus the devil for a total of 13.  They plotted evil things for the common folk for the following week.  Believe it or not, according to Wikipedia, even in this modern age an estimated 17 to 21 million people in the United States are affected by a fear of this day making it the dreaded day in history.  Hell, stuff like the Friday the 13th movies just makes it fun!   All of this is of course based on whether you believe it's a bad luck day or not.  Here's a few people having a bad day thanks to the aforementioned Jason Vorhees!  Warning, the video contains blood spilling and scenes a' thrilling.  Love it!
