Foo Fighters are currently playing gigs in Australia in support of their latest album, Sonic Highways. During a Foo Fighters show in Sydney on Feb. 25, Dave Grohl gave a blind fan one of Taylor Hawkins’ drumsticks.

Grohl took a moment after noticing a poster from a fan in the front row that read something like, “Drumstick for Blind Guy Plz?!” The frontman asked Hawkins for a stick before giving it to the fan and telling the audience about the sign. For a few seconds, part of the sign even made it onto the venue's jumbotron. Pretty sweet move, Dave.

Besides the gift of a drumstick to one lucky fan that night, the Foo Fighters treated the entire Aussie audience to 26 songs, including 4 covers: Kiss’ “Detroit Rock City,” “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘bout Love” from Van Halen, AC/DC’s “Let There Be Rock” and Queen and David Bowie’s “Under Pressure.”

Foo Fighters kicked off their Australian dates on Feb. 24 and will be down under through March 8, when they perform in Perth. They next head stateside this May for the Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Recently, the Foo Fighters took home the award for Best International Act at the 2015 Brit Awards and the NME Awards. U.S. fans will have a chance to see the group perform when they kick off their 2015 North American summer tour on July 4 in Washington D.C. They'll trek around North American through Oct. 7, when they bring their music to Memphis, Tenn. Check out the full list of dates here.
