Though we can’t confirm what set her off (CHEATER was scrolled across the man’s vehicle), our affiliate station – MIX 108′s Tony Hart was on the scene taking photos and had this to say, ” The police arrived on the scene shortly before 4pm and were seen looking at the debris, including a pile of ash were an apparent fire had been lit, the door to the house opened and the officer was seen talking to someone through the screen door.”

Though I have edited the offensive language displayed on the Tahoe, it was unfortunate that several neighborhood children witnessed the display. As for the pile of husband items labeled as FREE for the general public – I sincerely hope that this act of passive aggression has satisfied the obvious anger this woman felt towards her husband and I also hope there are no future episodes of Snapped centered around Superior, WI.

The OLD days

Very few things rival spending a nice Spring evening at one of the oldest, most hostorical professional ballparks in the country. Experience this right here in our town as the Evansville Otters kick off the 2012 seaason Friday night at beautiful Bosse Field.

The Otters play host to the Washington Wild Things with the first pitch at 6:35.

It’s a great night out for the family and still fairly inexpensive as game tickets are $5, $8 for box seats and kids under 5 are free.

The food is good, the beer is cold and the atmosphere is pure Americana.

The Noisey Music Channel on YouTube got some kids together (apparently spiked their drinks with some Go-Go Juice), and got them to give honest reviews of ‘music’ by Skrillex.

Some of the reviews go from the weirdly honest with “This music makes me want to spank my sister’s fat bum”, to the clearly-not-giving-a-f*** with “My grandma has a couch like this.” Video bonus, kids with a British accent can say anything stupid and make it sound classy.

Watch the video. But on a side note, where were the dance clubs for kids when I was growing up? Is that where those strange people in vans who offered you candy were planning to take you?

This new spidey-tale will be in theaters  on July 3rd…and it’s a completely new approach to the spidey-series. No Sam Raimi, no Tobey Maguire, no Kirsten Dunst, no James Franco. They’re going back to the beginning for this one…back to high school. And back to the fact that Peter Parker has to make his own web concoction and shooter. Mary Jane Watson is replaced by Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) as Spidey’s love interest…and Dr. Curt Conners/The Lizard (Rhys Ifans) takes center stage as the big green baddie.

May 12th was Malin’s 34th birthday. The Canadian actress of Swedish descent got into modeling and acting at the age of 5, and actually won the Ford Model Search in Canada at 17. The Great White North decided to keep her from us until she portrayed Freak Show’s wife in 2004′s ‘Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle’. Now, we can’t look at Oreo’s Double Stuff without getting awkwardly aroused.

Unfortunately, we’d have to wait a whole three years before we got to see her first starring role as Ben Stiller’s rebound wife in ‘The Heartbreak Kid’. We can’t fault Ben’s character for rushing into the holy bonds with that bombshell.

She made us question Vince Vaughn’s sexuality in 2009′s ‘Couples Retreat’ and she had our Nite Owl hooting in ‘Watchmen’.

What sets her apart from most smokeshows is her comical side, which is on full display as Dr. Valerie Flame in Adult Swim’s late night series ‘Children’s Hospital’.

Recently, she’s appeared on the covers of Maxim’s May 2012 issue and Shape’s June 2012 issue. She’s also been spotted at the Tribeca Film Festival and a host of other red carpet screenings of blockbuster movies

We’re looking forward to her roles in ‘Rock of Ages’ and ‘Stolen’, but we’re feverishly pressing fast forward to catch her playing Linda Lovelace in the porn star’s biopic set to release in 2013 (even though it might not happen).

The full Voodoo Music Experience lineup hasn’t been revealed yet, but there are a couple of big names already signed on for this year’s event. Green Day, who will be between the first and second albums they’re releasing this year, will venture to New Orleans just ahead of Halloween. Also confirmed are Neil Young, Skrillex, Bootsy Collins and a small handful of other acts.

This year’s event returns to City Park on Oct. 26-28. For Green Day, it will be their second appearance as part of the event, as they previous played 2004′s festival while on the ‘American Idiot’ trek. Last year’s festival featured the returns of Soundgarden, Blink-182 and the Raconteurs after extended hiatuses.

Green Day have a trio of records en route. ‘¡Uno!’ is due in September, ‘¡Dos!’ follows in November, and ‘¡Tré!’ will complete the trilogy in January. At present, the Voodoo Music Experience is Green Day’s only U.S. date for the remainder of the year, though we suspect that will change.

As a kid the promise of an ‘all you can eat buffet’ meant I could stuff my face with any food I wanted, and still top it off with ice cream. As an adult I just imagine troughs of reheated food. touched by children with diseased hands, and promises of spending many minutes in the restroom later.

For one man in Wisconsin, it became a challenge. Bill Wisth is picketing a restaurant in his town for now allowing him to have ‘all he could eat’. The 6-foot-6-inch 350 lb dude was refused service during their fish-fry Friday.

The restaurant claims that Wisht has been a problem and a source of constant annoyance. The claimed that Wisth and his friends consumed plate after plate, and accounting a large tab he hasn’t paid, they refused him service.

Showing that hell hath no fury like a lardball scorned, Wisht has started to picket the restaurant in protest. He plans to protest every Sunday, until the restaurant lets him have ‘all he can eat’.

Evansville-Otters

The Evansville Otters are holding a pep rally at Bosse Field tomorrow afternoon starting at 4 p.m. The 2012 season kicks off Friday night at home, so bring the kids meet the players and get autographs, photos, and meet Evan the Otter and the Otterbelles!
