The Walking Dead fans are eagerly awaiting Season 7's full trailer, but lest we forget, the second half of Fear The Walking Dead Season 2 will arrive even earlier, on August 21. The companion series is starting too look a great deal like its companion, however, as Nick strikes out on his own, and the others take refuge in a spooky-looking hotel.

Ahead of the AMC drama’s own Comic-Con 2016 panel, Fear The Walking Dead released a full trailer for the second half of Season 2, no longer enjoying that watery backdrop of its predecessor. In it, it appears as if Nick (Frank Dillane) finds a new group of cutthroat ruffians, while Madison, Travis, Alicia and the others scavenge (hey, just like Rick’s group in Season 2!) on the way to a new refuge.

So reads the synopsis:

As “Fear the Walking Dead” embarks on the second half of season two, the Clark, Manawa and Salazar families fracture. The events that took place at the Abigail compound have set all of our heroes adrift. Now they must forge their own paths to survive.

“Fear the Walking Dead” is executive produced by showrunner Dave Erickson, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero and David Alpert and stars Kim Dickens as Madison, Cliff Curtis as Travis, Frank Dillane as Nick, Alycia Debnam-Carey as Alicia, Mercedes Mason as Ofelia, Lorenzo James Henrie as Chris and Colman Domingo as Strand.

Don’t forget Season 3, given that 2017 will see the Walking Dead-adjacent drama graduating to a full 16 episodes, as with the main series.
