Monday, August 21st is fast approaching and with it, a unique celestial experience. While Evansville won't see the eclipse in totality, it will be a near total eclipse and Evansville's McCollough Branch Library on Washington Avenue, just east of South Green River Road, will be hosting a free viewing party for all ages. They will have a viewing area set up and will also offer craft materials to make for safe viewing.  If you'd like to attend, again it is free, however the EVPL is asking that you register your attendance in advance at EVPL.org.
