The 4th annual Four Freedoms Veterans Parade is scheduled for Saturday, November 9th at 2:30pm on Riverside Drive in Evansville. The parade will be led by Mayor Lloyd Winnecke and Rolling Thunder Indiana Chapter 6.

The Four Freedoms Veterans Parade is honored that the Co–Grand Marshals will be there to honor our veterans as they pass the reviewing stand which will be at Riverside Drive and Walnut Street. This year, weather permitting the parade will stop on Riverside Drive at the reviewing stand for a short ceremony to honor our veterans. During this ceremony, WWII navy veteran Sidney Hisel and great granddaughters Rosalie and Elizabeth Kerkhoff will lead the pledge of allegiance, Gina Moore will sing, recognition of Co-Grand Marshals, and dignitaries, and a few words from the Mayor and Parade Chairman.

Rolling Thunder Indiana Chapter 6’s mission is to publicize the POW-MIA issue, to educate the public that many American prisoners of war were left behind after all previous wars and to help correct the past and to protect future veterans from being left behind should they become Prisoners of War – Missing in Action. They are also committed to helping American veterans from all wars.
