Evansville Police Have Identified Bank Robbery Suspect

Evansville Police have identified a suspect in the Saturday robbery of the Fifth Third Bank in North Park Shopping Center. Based on surveillance photos, police believe that 33-year-old Gary Wayne Snelling robbed the bank.

According to police, he allegedly presented the teller with a note demanding money and implied that he had a weapon.

EPD public information officer Jason Cullum said that the suspect left the bank with an undetermined amount of money, "We know he left the bank and went across the parking lot toward the CVS and Barbecue  Shack on foot," Cullum said.
