Evansville Police Department Hosting Jewelry Party Benefit for Detective Battling Leukemia
The Evansville Police Department continue the support for one of their own as they get ready to host a jewelry party this Friday evening (May 3rd, 2013).
Taking place at the F.O.P. Club at 801 Court Street (click for map) in Downtown Evansville from 5:00-7:00pm, proceeds from the benefit will help cover the medical costs of Detective Nathan Schroer who is fighting leukemia for the second time in 10 years.
The event is open to the public and will feature jewelry from Lia Sophia. With Mother's Day coming up in less than two weeks (May 12th), this is a perfect opportunity to get mom something pretty and help out a member of the community who puts his life on the line day in and day out as a member of local law enforcement.
If you can't make it for the event, you can still help by shopping online. Click on "browse our jewelry", and enter "Nathan" as the hostess to have your order go to the fundraiser.
