The City of Evansville will once again offer lunch time shuttle service to the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival for Civic Center employees, downtown workers and other area residents from Monday, October 3, through Friday, October 7.

Standard fare applies for all passengers. City employees with valid ID may ride METS free.

The shuttle will pick up/drop off from the C.K. Newsome Community Center (west side of building by the “back 40” parking lot) and the Civic Center (near the flagpoles in front of the building) on the half hour, with the first departure/pick up at 11am and the last arrival/drop off at 2pm each day. The shuttle will pick up/drop off at the corner of W. Franklin St. and Wabash Ave. (temporary bus stop) on the quarter hour, with the first arrival/drop off at 11:15am and the last departure/pick up at 1:45pm.

The route for the Fall Festival Lunch Shuttle will be as follows:

Pick up/drop off on the west side of the C.K. Newsome Community Center, proceed to Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. (MLK) through the “back 40” parking lot and along Locust St., turn right into parking area in front of the Civic Center.

Pick up/drop off near the flag poles in front of the Civic Center, turn right on Sycamore St., turn left on Ninth St., turn left on Vine St., turn right on Second St., turn right on Fulton Ave., turn left on Lloyd Expressway, turn right on Wabash Ave., turn right on W. Franklin St.

Pick up/drop off at the temporary bus stop on the corner of W. Franklin St. and Wabash Ave., take W. Franklin St. to Fulton Ave., turn right on Fulton Ave., turn left on Second St., turn left on Sycamore St., and turn right on Elsas St. to arrive back at the C.K. Newsome Community Center and the “back 40” parking lot.
